In Pfaffl's formula (paper link attached), if we substitute GM of [Eref1^(delta Cp ref1)], [Eref2^(delta Cp ref2)], [Eref3^(delta Cp ref3)] in place of [Eref^(delta Cp ref)], then we arrive at your formula, with an AM. In short, GMs of (E^Cp) translates to AMs of (Cp*log2 E)
