Hi Abhishek, blood grouping (ABO) depends on protein carbohydrate structures that do not contribute to RBC stability.

As far as I know the membranes of all ABO RBCs are of the same composition and will behave the same in hemolysis procedures.

Dear Abhishek

ABO blood group antigens on RBCs are Glyco-lipids and has no role in the stability of RBCs while antigenicity of Rh group antigens are proteins. RhD negative blood is easily hemolisyed than Rh D positive blood group because Rh null state of RBCs is very unstable.
