I want to measure the amount of NOx levels from samples in the brain collected through microdialysis. Would it make sense to perfuse aCSF, collect the sample, then store the samples in perchloric acid (used in one study using microdialysis to study NOx)[I don't know its role in how it stores the sample] and then use the griess reagent on the samples?
-We don't have a machine to conduct chemiluminescence of the samples.
