So basically I have three variables. The first variable is an emotion which is induced in them through a video. This has two phases, in the first phase, they were sent a form with one emotion and asked to fill the survey and questionnaire (explained below). Then they fill the survey which contains questions related to art materials. So it contains questions like would you rather use a pencil or brush or hand for painting in this emotional state. So this is a categorical variable. Then they fill the desire for the aesthetic questionnaire. This is a continuous variable. Then after a week, they were sent another form containing video of another emotion and they had to fill the same survey being in that emotion and not the questionnaire as it is a really small time for the aesthetic to change. Now I have their responses, I have coded them, how do I arrange phase 1 and 2 so that I can run the analysis of SPSS?

As I have mentioned earlier also. I have not used aesthetic questionnaire in my post test because that would not have changed for someone over a weeks period of time. So my professor asked me not to take that again.
My main hypothesis is-
There is an impact of emotions on the usage of art material.
I believe you can obtain One more set of data. Ignoring the data gathered on second stage. repeating the same procedure, you following the same procedure including the aesthetics Questionnaire. This time the emotion may be entirely different from earlier one. Thus, I believe a gap of more than 15-21 days would be suitable to notice the change in the response's aesthetic questionnaire based on the emotion sown in the video.
