I think 'breed type' have an effect, same as nutrition used to feed them.

Different milk production from different cattle breeds (see below). So, it should be like that for donkey breeds too.

From the paper attached, it shows that the yield of milk production for donkey can be different in different seasons. Winter has the most production and Spring has least production (Table 3).

Milking time also an important factor for the yield. The average milk yield of the morning milking was found to be statistically lower than that observed for the afternoon milking (549.2 mL vs. 949.3 mL). [see attached paper]

In donkeys, at least empirically there are differences. For example, some italian breeds have jennies that produce the same amonut of milk as a good goat. However in Andalusians you do not get that much.

Never taste a donkey milk before. Does it taste like cow milk?
