I am currently writing a master thesis on an ongoing project in my company. I want to mention the company name in my thesis anonymously. Because of internal policies.
Is there any better way than writing a dummy name as ABC?
Or is there is scientific writing rule or guideline for this?
Tried to search a lot on the internet but could not find answer. Please help.

If you are writing your master's degree thesis in the form of a scientific report, then, in my view, you should concentrate on the topic and subject matter that you have chosen to research. During the course of your scientific research project, you may wish to consult experts and individuals who have educational background, training, or experience that qualifies them as a consultant, mentor, expert, or advisor. Again, focus on the research topic, hypothesis, modus operandi, methodology, procedures, experimental findings, data, preliminary conclusion, conclusion (quod erat demonstrandum),, and other factual information.
Without further information, such as the working title of your thesis, no further suggestions are feasible at this time.
You don't even need to mention the company at all. But if you do, describe it in general terms and then state that henceforth it shall be referred to as the 'entity', if you have to. But check University guidelines and company requirements. Or call it Weyland Yutani or Skynet from Alien and Terminator haha :)

There may be specific guidance associated with your referencing style. As you mentioned scientific an example might be the IEEE journal style - look this up and see whether they have a specific recommendation. Otherwise look for publications in IEEE journals and see how this issue is handled by other authors.
