I have tried both workbench and watertight meshing; the quality of workbench meshing is very low, and watertight meshing requires too many elements to attain acceptable quality, this is why I resorted to ICEM CFD. I have successfully used ICEM to mesh a PEMFC with a square-shaped channel. However, with other cross-section shapes, I have problems. I think the problem could be related to blocking. Normally, I create a block and then split it along the sections. However, the blocking does not cover the channels, so I could not assign node values to the channels.

I also tried to use multizone blocking but it restricted the blocks to certain mesh types and eventually produced negative-quality elements. I do not know how to go about this problem.
