I found a similar question has been asked before, and found Refik Kanjhan' method is very useful.
Refik Kanjhan' answer as follows,
1.Just dissect the dorsal cranial bones, and after exposing the entire dorsal surface of the brain.
2. Make an incision to at the rostral end (caudal end of olfactory bulbs) and caudal end (mid-cerebellum).
3. Hold the brain upside-down, with it is weight the brain tissue usually easily comes off with gravity, if not give it a bit of a assistance with coarse forceps. Once the brain drops off, then you will see the pituitary sitting inside the bone or fossa (cella turcica).
4. Then you just have to get it out with forceps, pay attention if you need to keep tissue integrity for histological purposes.
