Is this a reconnaissance assessment? If so, start with gathering together what is already known about the regional surface water (e.g. streams, lakes), soils & vegetation, geology, topography, and climate (e.g. precip, temperature, humidity) in order to guide choice of appropriate hydrologic investigations.
1st find the water table in all bore wells of that region.2.Pre mansoon and post mansoon water level data based on analysis type of Aquifer property.If you government is not maintained water table data..you have to do survey your selves
For the underground water (i.e. aquifers) resources, collect, QA/QC and analyze the following datasets:
1. Lithological, drilling records (e.g. water strikes, water losses) and geophysical data to define aquifers/aquitards
2. Aquifer test data to determine the hydraulic parameters (e.g. hydraulic conductivity, storativity)
3. Recharge distribution in the region
4. Flow and water levels of surface water bodies
5. Designs of the monitoring wells
5. Monitoring (water levels and water chemistry) data
6. Water injection/pumping
It will be good to put all the above datasets in a structured (e.g. MS Access) database.
