Writing remain my action of life when I have started my inclination in the science of Astrology ,I have published quite good articles in the magazine & during my Sr position in Adm areas with foreign concern I have observed my tuning with psychic tech including with my observation, with management training ,i have published my article in the science of Astrology in Management compass for which I was invited in all India Astrological conference which i have not attended but with the grace of members & also from conveyor related to my appreciation on the subject .
With this I have also started my own magazine name VIBHUTI covering areas of Religion,Philosophy, Meditation, Psychology ,Astrology & such related areas .
Due to this writers & publishers send me their publication for my review . Due to this after closing my Vibhuti I was invited as an Hon Editor for one of the reputed spiritual institute to carry out their program including the review of publication which i carry for 2 yrs .
All though I believe ,respect & worship my own religion but at the same time I have respected every religion & one of devotee of Pir sarkar came to me to write small booklet such a great Pir Sarkar I accepted it without any fees .
I trust the above information may meet your information .
Yes I have tried to write much, but due to additional assignments I have produced only the following;
1. Characterstics of Ethiopian Coriander; 2. Production, Processing and Utilization of Aromatic plants; 3. Stevia; 4. Rosemary; 5. Physic nut; etc with my collegues.
Writing or reading a book on a certain research topic is always a scientific challenge. I have written over 10 books, 100 articles and many E-learning courses (master level). My first book was on: Social Learning Processes , and how do human societies learn? I do think that E-Books and open access do carry a great future, concerning sharing knowledge. Today, it is easier to publish than 30 years ago; with tools as RG, we can even find new partners for learning and earning, who do match our scientific agenda.
Basic Battle Tactics: A guide to Military strategies (2018) and Quality Assurance principles for processors in the developing world: An experiential and training approach (2017), and I am still publishing mainly in drug discovery and development, warfare and military strategies and processing facility systems besides contributing book chapters to colleague's projects in Drug discovery and development and phytochemistry.
You can check out my contributions on amazon at the following link:
My motivations for the two book are embedded in my projects: Chemistry, pharmacology and warfare (To provide options for peace, secuirty and control of unconventional weaponry) and to advance ahdherence to standarsd.
My experience is that it is important to explore several publishers depending on the need you have.
1. Commercial (For profits)
2. Just to share knowledge
3. To advance career
4. For publicity of some kind
Understand their terms and make sure you are satisfied. Then next, move on to what you think are bigger challenges.
Yes, four books in the field of environmental and sanitary engineering, two of which are used as scientific books and study for some undergraduate stages, taught in some universities of my country, and can be followed by colleagues on the RG.
yes i wrote two books, one already published by springer entitled experimental agrometeorology and another in pipe line with the same publisher namely satellite agriculture
I wrote my first book Numerical Methods in Engineering Practice when I was very young because the publisher "Holt, Rinehart and Winston asked me to write the book after they saw my course notes in the bookstore! I have since written 10 more. In each case it was about sharing knowledge and experience that were unique.
Thank you Dr.Al-khafaji for contribution.Without a doubt you are one of the best in the civil engineering area.I am proud to follow you.Wish all the best.
I wrote a booklet of 23 pages only this year about the global warming:
Title: The Universal Law, Consumer Economy and Global Warming
Synopsis: The whole universe follows the same law, where movements are always from concentrated (rich) energies to diluted (poor) energies. However, many of our daily activities seem to follow the opposite law, bringing energy from diluted to concentrated areas. As a good example is the heat removed from the inside cool refrigerator to the outside warm kitchen. In order to obey the universal law, an energy need to be added to the pump of the refrigerant. Carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere are the result of generating this energy by burning natural resources, instead of using the free endless natural energies.
In this consumer-based economy, consumer spending is seen as the 'engine' and the 'driving force' of economic growth. Using a general equation of transport phenomena, a new equation describing consumer spending is introduced in this book as a competition between a driving force and a resistance for spending. Based on this new definition, marketing and advertisement enhance the driving force for spending while the credit card role is to hinder the resistance due to the income. Because of the industrialization and the consumer's economy, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted every year started to increase sharply from the year 1950. In order to increase consumers spending, the strategy and the target of marketing and advertisement departments of many companies is to make us link happiness to comfort and pleasures. A simple case study, based on available data of the year 2011, shows that marketing and credit cards could have increased the energy consumption by 12.3% and added about 1.1 ppm of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
The recent scientific data from climate change conference in Paris seem to tell us that lifestyle and behavioral changes are crucial to avoid more severe consequences of global warming. For example, if one billion households worldwide could save an amount of energy equivalent to one 60 Watt-bulb, the resulting reduction of the total amount of carbon dioxide sent to the atmosphere could represent 3.5% of the total amount needed to be reduced in order to stay in the ceiling of 2C by 2050.
The challenge today is to redefine happiness away from consumption in order to avoid more severe natural disasters. Some people are already introducing the new 'minimalist' life style in order to depend less on consumption. Unlike comfort, discomfort is seen as crucial to our pursuit of genuine happiness. Finally, similar to the spring after the gestures of charity in nature, it is scientifically proven that charity brings happiness to people. Since Mother Nature provides us with everything, global warming could be perceived as the bitter medicine needed to help us walk on our feet again and think properly.
Thank you Mohammed. I am happy because I used the general formula of transport phenomena to define Consumer Spending and how marketing and credit card enhance it . I think this is the first equation about consumer spending and I hope somebody can correct me if there is a known equation of consumer spending.
