I had experience when I followed a textbook grant to the Indonesian government in 2011, a book I wrote for 11 months, I was full of confidence at that time, and it turned out FAILED. I felt devastated for one year and never wanted to write again, in 2012 I tried again to submit a grant, along with nine friends, after the announcement of one month came out, and the result was only me who succeeded. fail is beautiful. Actual failure is wisdom. thanks you all.
Natural feeling on your part when you "failed" but not succeeding at something can be looked on as a learning experience which could help in the future. This sounds trite I know but it is true no one succeeds without first falling down (its good for the soul) it may take a while but keeping going afterwards helps develop our strengths. Well done for overcoming your disappointment.

Failure in any venture or activity one hopped or confident to succeed in often creates a sense of hopelessness. This results in discouragement hence the fear of not trying again.what. has helpef me in the past failures ard certain philosophies about failure such as failure being the first step to success. Learning from failure, critical analysis of the realities of failure and speaking to a therapist for emotional support .
I make mistakes and all of us do. Failure is in the eye of the beholder, perhaps of the other who makes this judgement of me. I learn so much from the "mistakes" of others, vicarious learning. I've learned so much from the mistakes of my clients. They are great mentors for me!
Psychology refers to self-efficacy, the degree of confidence and competence we feel. Very early in life we are created by multiple inputs from others in our immediate world! See Abraham Maslow and Erik Erickson in this regard.

We are conditioned to believe that failure is to be avoided all the time, and to receive it is the worst. However, the reality is that failure is always part of the process. We talk about "risking failure", where maybe we need to be thinking in terms of "risking success". Failure gives us the opportunity to learn, to reassess our approach.
Thomas Edison, regarded as one of the most famous inventors, said that despite all of his incredible successes he had a higher rate of failed inventions to successful ones. The spray lubricant WD-40 was named because the 39 previous attempts at a formula for the product failed, the 40th succeeded. The adhesive on Post-It-Notes was a failed attempt by a 3M scientist to create a permanent adhesive, he put it on paper and demonstrated how it didn't work. The yellow paper associated with the notes is used because when they thought of the postit note concept and wanted to test it, the only paper they could use was left-over yellow paper. The pace-maker has been implanted in many people's hearts and saved countless lives, but the product was a "failure". The technician who invented it was making an electrical circuit that output a steady signal. It was by accident that he noticed the "failed" rhythm reminded him of a heart beat. JK Rowling, the author of the successful "Harry Potter" kids books, submitted to about 30 publishers before one took a chance on her and published her first book.
There are lots of failures in those examples. But they are extremely successful failures. Embrace failure as your friend, an opportunity to grow, a part of the process of life. It all depends on your attitude.

I fail a lot, and the truth sometimes fails, but I try not to despair because the feeling of despair is the real failure of man.
