Dear colleges: I am a pharmacist and i am interested in doing researches on zebrafish. I have worked with mice, rats and cell lines before. I am wondering what type of medical research can be done with zebrafish? toxicology or pharmacology subjects or only genetic ??and how long dose it take for the results??
Yes, you can do all of those you mentioned, just search google or pumed, there is literature there.
Plz see 'Surrogate Animal Models', page 4-5 in attached publication (Ahuja 2014) for a summary.

Zebrafish is a great model. You can use it for neuropharmacology, developmental, toxicology and several other types of studies. Search on google for protocols relevant to your field of interest.
