With the aim to analysing bacterial microbiomes in a cheaper way, I would like to tag the amplicons of each sample with primers barcodes. But I'm pretty new in this approach! Anybody here with experience in this? Any advice, suggestions?

In the supplementary material there is a nice work flow for how to design barcodes/primers for this purpose targeting the V4 region.
