In 2d the Ising model can be solved exactly, using the transfer matrix method, on the square and triangular lattices. I wonder if somebody tried to solve the same model on the 2d lattice constructed from the clique cells (fully connected graphs of four nodes).

This model (it seems that this is a variant of next nearest neighbour (nnn) Ising model ) can be solved by the numerical transfer matrix method for finite system size N, but I was thinking that may be somebody solved this problem for infinite N (computed T_c, magnetisation, etc. )
