Has anyone worked on a fungal biocatalysis?

The catalysis of organic compounds by whole cell fungi takes a lot of time, 10-20 days. Is there some method to do the reaction faster? Sometimes, the enzyme does not work for specific compounds. Can any one explain this? I will be thankful.

Hye, maybe u can increase the inoculum size of fungal and add some nutrient in your organic compound to enhance the growth of fungal.
