I agree, but for some conditions there are also targeted self-efficacy questionnaires that can be used. What you use will, of course, depend on how you are planning to use it. Is it something you want to integrate into an app for continuous monitoring, or as a paper-based assessment tool as part of a trial?
i have used self reported questionnaire after intervene patients online and assessed their satisfaction related to that. My that article is already being accepted for publication and I can send you the link by 25th july.
Other than that various self efficacy scale are available freely online like MARS scale
hi, we assessed the efficacy of a new designed mobile NFC-enabled app with a FMECA model which was tuned to the context (stem cells management and transplant).
You can take a look also to HFMEA model which is specific to healthcare domain and has more standardized scales
The Linkcare platform is currently being used for several Lifestyle Interventions. Specially Activity and Dietary coaching and Smoke cessation.
We use a three level coaching feedback:
1. COMPLIANCE to evaluate if the patient has performed the reporting or evaluation activity (i.e. sync step counter, post intake pictures, fill patient reported outcome form....)
2. ACHIEVEMENT to evaluate if the report shows achievement of the agreed goals (i.e. certain amount of daily steps, reduction of fat or carbohydrate intake, reduction of smoked cigarettes...)
3. OUTCOME to evaluate the progression of the desired outcome (i.e. weight reduction, blood sugar reduction, PO2 improve...)
This "three level" assessment has been used in a number of studies. Specially from Anael Barberan (i. e. link below)
