Hi Andrei, Thanks for your explanation. Did you ever try the kit and trizol protocol? Is the DNA yield good?

Interestingly, how much sample you used for DNA extraction in Trizol. I tried 30 drosophila gut and the yield is only 1ng/ul or less. Do you think it should be higher?
