I mounted brain tissue for an ICC (typical protocol - cyrostat sectioning with OCT at -15, stored slides at 4 C until running the ICC..about a week or two). When we started the ICC, a few mounts came off in the first PBS washes - then after the overnight primary antibody incubation, most of the rest of the mounts came off the slide. I decided to try poly-L-Lysine slides rather than the gelatin subbed slides I used to use because I've read on here the Pol-L-Lysine works better than gelatin. I figured ordering them pre-subbed would be even more time efficient and used Master Tech - ordered them straight from their company.
Has anyone else had negative issues with Master Tech subbed slides? Is there some solution to this as I have boxes of these slides now?
