For my research on landscape studies, I'm looking into 3D point clouds. I've been experimenting with drone photography and have been successful in creating point clouds for extremely small locations. I've just used WebODM and don't have much experience with other point cloud applications. I was hoping that the Google Earth 3D photos, which include trees, buildings, and landscape, could be converted into a point cloud file in some way. Please provide any leads or references you may have.

Hi Ashim, you cannot convert one Google Earth image to a point cloud, because extracting a 3D point from standard photographs necessitates that the point is observed in at least two images acquired from different positions.
However, many countries like Slovenia, Belgium, Austria have free-to-download point clouds covering the whole country. These points were acquired by an active remote sensing method, called airborne laser scanning (sometimes also referred to as airborne LiDAR).
