Despite vascular reasons are well recognized possible causes of sudden hearing loss, I didn' found any report about treatment with low-dose aspiriin in this clinical scenario.
Agree. Supposition of the cause of sudden hearing loss is speculation. I do not, however see a contraindication for trying it unless there are other reasons not to give ASA. No data to support it, however.
Aspirin can be ototoxic (some evidence that it is dose dependent) so perhaps this is not ideal if there is already hearing loss but some preserved vestibular function - and normal hearing on the contralateral side.
Have you got an audiogram? There are a few competing theories on the aetiology of sudden sensorineural hearing loss - viral, ischaemic etc. There is no evidence that oral steroids, vasodilators (e.g. carbogen) and aciclovir confer any benefit, and only a little evidence that hyperbaric oxygen helps.
