Jackie Zhuang and I presented this paper at the CDC Health conference in Atlanta 2 years ago. Someone viewing our poster described it as very precious data as we were able to get access to young teens in a middle school. The MSU IRB agreed to parental refusal as consent. If the parents did not send our form of refusal back to school, their child was included in the study. We got very good compliance with the study. Only 3 parents returned the refusal form.
