We dissolved 1 mg/ml CNO in DMSO (2% of final volume). Our rats get daily injections (they are Brown Norway rats) and consistently develop lesions at the points of injection. Does anyone have any recommendations as to how this could be prevented?
It would be more clear for my understanding if you mention about volume of injection, anatomical site and route of injection like ip or im or ip etc.
CNO dissolves well in saline, no need to use 2% DMSO. however, CNO can itch somehow...

We are doing SC, and at a volume of 5mg/kg, which ends up being 1-2cc's.
We have been trying to dissolve in saline but for some reason it hasn't been working. Thoughts on why? Again, 1mg/ml concentration.
