It is really tedious to run SWMM several times for calibration purpose to get the optimum value of model parameters. The swmmr package has the strength to assist calibrating the SWMM model based on the upper and lower bound of specific parameters. For one subcatchment, this procedure is pretty easy and effective.
If we have 100 of subcatchments (per say) and the heterogeneity of different hydrologic and non hydrologic parameters must be calibrated. Has anybody tried to do that autocalibration in R interface using the "deoptim" tool?
Any reference/guidance/ feedback will be highly appreciated.
