I have been struggling to run KDE with LSCV bandwidth in GME. KDE command builder works fine with numeric bandwidth( i.e, 1000, 2000 etc) but if I select other bandwidth like "LSCV", "SCV" etc. it fails to calculate KDE (see attached error). Is this typical error associated with R file location? I am fairly new with GME.
My overall goal is to iterate thorugh animal GPS location data-sets to estimate KDE for series of dates using LSCV bandwidth. I am trying to reproduce similar For Loop example discussed in this link: http://www.spatialecology.com/gme/strategiccommands.htm.
I wonder if anyone in this forum has tried KDE with "LSCV" bandwidth either in command builder or command text inside GME. I would appreciate your suggestion.

I worked around and fixed the problem. It was R path conflict and "ks" R packages privileges issue.
Solution:
1. Uninstall GME and R
2. Download correct version of GME and R ( in my case GME 0.7.3 and R 3.1.1)
3. Install R, right click and Run as Administrator
4. Install GME, right click and Run as Administrator
5. Open R and install package 'ks", then load library 'ks'
Finally, I was able to calculate KDE using LSCV bandwidth :) !
Note that it is always important to run R as an Administrator to install the libraries.
