I was searching for a conference on calcium signalling in cells and came across this meeting https://www.ecs2018.eu/registration.html . The meeting seems good meeting, but with all the predatory conferences around I am a bit skeptical about it. so Can anyone confirm that is it a predatory meeting or not.

The ECS is a well-run, friendly and not-for-profit collective that serves to link calcium signallers from across the world (not just Europe). I've been to many of the meetings, and they are excellent. The standard of science is high, poster sessions are well attended, and there is plenty of time to chat to people socially too. The forthcoming meeting, organised by Andreas Guse, will no doubt be similarly enjoyable. If you decide to attend, I'll see you there!

As Martin wrote, ECS meetings are the right place to talk about Ca2+ in very different fields and to meet friendly people :)

Hallo Gupta,
I reside in Cottbus, Germany. Basically, ECS meetings are the best place to attend when it comes to Ca2+ signalling and other areas of implication in the cells. Registering for it is good. So very likely we can meet that day.
