I have vegetation composition data from 4 sites (and 30 quadrats per site) and need to ordinate the data using MDS. I am using Bray-Curtis dissimilarity matrix as input in STATISTICA.

The results (including stress and plot) are very different from what I am getting in another software - PAST. PAST requires input of the raw data (and then chose the similarity measure), whereas STATISTICA asks for the the similarity/dissimilarity/correlation matrix as input data.

Would appreciate help in validating my steps
