In ASCE7-22 chapter 16 in 16.2.3.2 Amplitude Scaling section written that

“For each horizontal ground motion pair, a maximum-direction spectrum shall be constructed from the two horizontal ground motion components.”

- How can I construct maximum-direction spectrum ?

- After constructing maximum-direction spectrum shall we amplify and rotate each ground motion components? And How can I scale and rotate each ground motion components?

For finding ground motions I want to use https://ngawest2.berkeley.edu/. so for selecting the method of Spectral Ordinate which option should I choose? (SRSS / RotD100/ RotD50/Geomean/H1/H2/V)
