Green construction and building methods and usage of recycled materials are on the rise in developed countries. They are not only just eco-friendly but also ensure sustainable infrastructures. However, this concept is pretty much new to our country and not very popular with people yet. The fastened industrialization and urbanization seem to be less adoptive of it. What are your thoughts on this? Why many consider this problematic? What challenges are needed to overcome to popularise this concept more?
They are slowly gaining popularity, but the technologies are still to be standardized and stabilized.
In my view, before scaling up, as a precautionary measure, investors could do some pilot projects in different places and generate evidence. In addition, effective coordination systems between stakeholders should be put in place before scale up green building project in Bangladesh. Go Green Bangladesh!

I think between the mindset of the responsible authority and the process of implementation, there is a huge gap which includes a lack of appropriate intentions, available resources and technological support. I would like to hope that in near future, we will have overcome those limitations.

Financial Literacy or Digital Financial System though present in our country, remains out of the public domain to date as a matter of fact from the root level. We need to acknowledge this not only as a prospective sector but also as important information for all.
