Thanks to the diagram (see Janusz Pudykiewicz's answer https://bigthink.com/starts-with-a-bang/earth-move-universe/), I noticed that the Moon's orbit is inclined 18 degrees less to the plane of the Milky Way than the Earth's orbit around the Sun. The moon is solid, but the Earth is plastic inside. Could this be the reason? How are Jupiter and Mercury similar to the Moon? Their orbits are perpendicular to the plane of the ecliptic. Maybe everyone knows this except me? Thank you, Boris

The main axis of the ellipse of the Earth's orbit around the Sun lies in the plane of the Milky Way. Is it because of gravity? The plane of the ecliptic orbits of all the planets of the solar system except Pluto are inclined to the plane of the galaxy at one angle. Why? As in other systems of our galaxy?

Nice observation. You're right, our universe is a complete entity, and all of its elements are working under universal law.

The plane of our orbit, which defines the Ecliptic, is NOT aligned with the plane of the Milky Way. They differ by 60.4 degrees. So all discussion about why our orbital plane is aligned with the plane of the Milky Way is nonsense.

As to how the galaxy affects things like our orbit or tilt, it doesn't. The plane of the orbit of our (and practically all of the other planets, and of the Kuiper Disk/Belt) is defined by the way that the disk of gas and dust and ice out of which they formed happened to be aligned when the Solar System was forming, 4.6 billion years ago, and since different planetary systems (as determined by recent studies of exoplanets) have random orientations relative to the plane of the Galaxy, there is obviously no relationship between our orbital motion and the plane of the Galaxy. This is inevitable, because the most important thing determining the orbital plane of the planets is the way in which the Sun formed, and everything inside a distance considerably larger than the orbit of Pluto is never affected even by passing stars, let alone a structure which is 25000 times larger than the distance to the nearest star. Remember that gravity is an inverse-square force, so the fact that the galaxy is 10's of millions of times bigger than the aforementioned region beyond Pluto means that the gravity of the Sun is at least 100's of millions of millions of times more important than the gravity of the Galaxy, even for objects in the Kuiper Belt. For the inner planets, you can add several more zeroes to how insignificant the Galaxy's gravitational force is, making it pointless to worry about.

Similarly, though the reason for the tilt of our axis is more complicated (axial tilts for the planets are essentially random: see http://cseligman.com/text/sky/otherseasons.htm ), but is undoubtedly due to (1) the angle of the collision between Gaia and Theia that created the Earth and (2) the gradual alteration of the Moon's orbit (and to a certain extent our orbital tilt) by tidal forces exerted on it by the Earth and Sun during the first 100 million years (or less) after that collision (in other words, at least 4.5 billion years ago).

I asked about whether the major (main) axis of the Earth's orbit around the Sun really lies on the plane of the Milky Way as a result of gravity. (The Earth crosses the Milky Way in January and June. The Earth's orbit is elliptical. This is obvious.). You deny that the mass of a galaxy affects our orbit or tilt. I understand that the movement in space is primarily affected by gravity in combination with centrifugal and centripetal forces. Maybe I'm wrong, but I doubt that "determining the orbital plane of the planets is how the Sun was formed." In your statement, you do not show mechanisms - physical processes ... I, unlike you, do not consider it obvious that there is no connection between our orbital motion and the plane of the Galaxy. Maybe I'm wrong. I'm willing to change my mind, but give me proof. I have shown that the Moon, not the Sun, forms the ocean tides on the Earth. This matches your statement. But the tides in the solid body of the Earth "do not notice the Moon" and obey only the Sun. Nothing in the Universe is working with force (Mechanical Gravity) any kind force (centrifugal), the only thing exist in the universe is Temperature & Pressure and universe duality principle movement. The reason everything is weightless, sphere in space because of the phenomenon. Unfortunately both of you are incorrect.

The Earth's gravity, is working with Temp & pressure as well, not Newtonian or Einsteinian or any person weight.

The Tide of ocean is working with earth's body rotation, due to 12 hrs each Time.

The problem is that the ocean tide has a period of 12.5 and 25.0 hours (the influence of the Moon), and not 12 and 24 hours (the influence of the Sun).

Surely, crossing the Galacting equator the planets of the Solar System should experience a tidal wave. But, since this crossing process is very long in time, the time scale of these tidal waves should fall into the geological timescale (out of the registration by astronomers). Meanwhile, affecting the world climate should take place, again, in the geologcal timescale. Supposedly we have now such a Galactic tidal wave.

Time in the Galaxy flows from the North pole to the South pole, turning out at the Galactic equator similarly to the Moebius belt.
