Hello everyone,

Does anybody knows some skills (diaphysal) femur biomechanics? I need to know how the cortex of a femur behaves under loadings for osteohistologic applications. I have read in a paper that mouse tibia is tensed anteriorly, and compressed posteriorly, but from what I could see in another paper on mice femora, this could be the opposite in the latter...

Afterwards, I would like to apply such concepts to graviportal taxa, which have a non standard stance.

If you know some literature about it, it is also perfect!

Many thanks in advance, Benjamin
