I am searching for new papers and books to find out about graphene oxide and graphene oxide/nanoparticle hybrids application in adsorption of waste water organic pollutants. (I should consider mass transfer calculations included in graphene oxide researches.)
Also I am eager to find sources of modeling and simulation in nanotechnology specifically for graphene oxide to use in the above mentioned fields.
Since Grahene is hydrophobic, you could use them for a thin porous coating on a membrane surface and use it in Membrane Distillation (MD) Technology for the waste water treatment and (Sea)Water desalination....you could refer all my publications regarding MD.

Have you started your work on GO? currently working on GO membrane basically for waste treatment, but there are some interesting papers on GO for desalination such as :
