Can anyone explain me about good Altmetric record? i am sharing herr one of my articles' altmetric record here, please explain who has good idea about it?
You can read the information given by the altmetric next to the donut. Also, compare these scores with those given to other articles published in that journal, and the percentile (rank given).
Nazia Hossain , Altmetric score is an information about public engagement with one's research output across the data sources tracked by the altmetric system. The score is presented in a form of coloured donut reflecting public engagement with one's research output across the altmeric data sources. Some of these sources include Social media like "twitter where micro blogging of research outputs appear to be low, but higher than other social media platforms tracked by altmetrics" (Costas, Zahedi and Wouters, 2014). Other altmetric data sources about research outputs public engagements include Blog platforms, Mendeley, YouTube, Scopus, Web of Science, Policy and guidelines from governmental and non governmental organisation, and others.
Meanwhile, good altmetric scores in line with the submission of Prof Samy A. Azer is an information reflecting the performance of one's research outputs in comparison with other research outputs published around the same time or in the same journal with one's research output.
