I want to work on an area like HIV or Climate change ...that have different impact on society( academic and nonacademic) to see if social networks cause a new f flow of knowledge or borne of new interdisciplinary fields or new research fronts? In traditional area and citation databases, co word (co-occurrence) OR co-citation of publications in one field can help to see if new cluster, new discipline or new flow of knowledge is borne or formed? But in altmetric world, what should be analyzed? Comment of that publication, Tweets , peoples profile ...????? I want to see if we could be able to forecast future by altmetric measures sooner than traditional platforms. Even if this is a null hypothesis, I want to see if it is possible OR useful to be done?
