Currently there are great challenges in managing quality information for research. There are many ways to obtain digital information, from free access digital tools, to other professional tools, and yet there are researchers who do not achieve a high degree of efficiency in information management. From our perspective, the question would be how to integrate infometric, bibliometric and altmetric information during the research processes?
Raúl Rodríguez Muñoz you raised a very important question pertinent to metric studies. In my opinion, first there should be a trust between the proponents of these (informetric, bibliometric and altimetric, and more scientometrics, webometrics). Do they complement each or one on expense of other, especially in case of bibliometric and scientometrics. In my case, I can say they complement each other under the umbrella of informatics.
