Do you agree with the phenomenon of globalization? Do you consider it as a positive and natural process? Or a negative and destructive project? what is your opinion? Optimistic or Pessimistic? Why?
I think that we need to slowly proceed with the question. The first is to better understand what we mean when we use the word "globalization".
1) The process that started with the knowledge of the various locations of the globe and subsequently exchanges with these various locations (mainly trade and people movements, but connected to this also the spread of ideas, religions, culture, etc....)
2) The process that some culture become globally dominant (e.g. western culture represented through music, literature, movies, TV series, food). At the same time sub-cultures globalize. So we have processes of centralization of cultures and processes of specialization of cultures happening globally parallel (e.g. there is no global food, but there are many specialized foods [Chinese, Indian, Mexican, etc] that become available globally.
3) Globalized production, meaning that parts of a commodity are produced in many countries and then assembled in one factory. The parts that make up the finished product come from many different countries, either from factories the producer ha sin other countries, or companies that sell the parts to the producer.
I feel the reflection of what globalization can be and hope that many fill gaps that are certainly still there.........
Globalization is good for the winners, but bad for the loosers. In this case it forms it's antipode - glocalization, which means "inprisonment" of the loosers because of geographical place, low income, bad education, accident, invalidity, disease, etc. Globalization was always during mankind's history, but during the last 30-40 years it accelerated so much that it is unimaginable to investigate processes in the present time without taking into account the impact of globalization and glocalization.
Some scholars believe that globalization is a pre-designed project by the superpower countries to plunder resources and dominate the weak countries.
And this phenomenon will increase the level of poverty, corruption and unemployment in these countries and will even lead to the disappearance and removal of poor countries from the geographic map of the earth.
