Indirect heating of the earth through green house gas is a small amount to heat the planet but direct heating of the environment with low grade waste heat is a large quantity to heat the environment. But our scientists are ignoring the large amount for which the ice/glaciers are melting fast beyond their imagination.

The increased heating from the greenhouse gas CO2 is not a small amount, nor is it indirect. It falls in the peak of the incoming solar radiation spectrum and is equal to a large fraction of solar heating. It acts for 12 hours per day 365 days per year over the whole surface of the Earth, and is causing the glaciers to melt. Compared with that the burning of fossil fuels which causes directly or indirectly the heat you are describing is trivial. Moeover, the CO2 from fossil fuel burning is cumulative, not transitory like the process that forms it.
