to be more specific i transcript the optimal control to nonlinear programming problem NLP problem the results is so bad by pseudo spectral method the problem in the potential discontinuity in the control to overcome theses bad results i have to deal with the potential discontinuity in control at the transcription stage (using pseudo spectral method itself) or at the resulting NLP (i.e. when solving it) i get confused how to get good results while over coming the potential discontinuity in control thanks in advance
Do you need to use the global orthogonal collocation? If there is a discontinuity in the right-hand side, you can divide the whole control interval into two (or more parts) and use orthogonal collocations for each interval separately.
