I am wondering what Journal could be potentially fit to publish the (preliminary) achievements of a research of our.
Our study has been aimed at modeling the relation between land agricultural productivity and environmental/topographic variables in a territory in the central-southern sector of Mediterranean.
The study uses Multiple Logistic Regression within a GIS environment to model the relation between a dependent categorical variable (optimal/non-optimal land quality) and different independent environmental variables.
The dependent variable is devised on the basis of historical empirical data derived from old land parcels (1800s) portraying State-owned properties.

Maybe MDPI "Land" Journal, but it is a new journal so it's hard to tell if it is the best choice. If you want ot focus on the methodological aspect, then international journal of geographic information science could also help.
Journal of Land Use Science often contains such historical work..
