the nanofibers I am collected are appearing textured and there’s some microdripping. At the same time, there’s smooth surface right next to it. What could be the reason ?!
As it seems from the picture, there are no fibers at all. Are you sure about fiber formation?
If the fibers are formed, this result is probably due to the inappropriate concentration of the electrospinning solution. If the concentration is not suitable, drop spraying is also done during electrospinning, which causes a part of the obtained nanofibers to show a non-uniform surface.
In any case, I suggest to make sure that the concentration of your electrospinning solution is suitable.
Also investigate electrospinning conditions such as distance, rate, and voltage.
As much as possible to obtain uniform fibers, the solution coming out of the syringe should be uniform and a Taylor cone should be formed in the syringe head.
using the same solution and same conditions i was able to get fibers yes. however, when i spun again to make more, i started to get this results and the fibers in the SEM seem laminated (attached).
i will try with different solution concertation and see the result
I think you didn't choose a suitable concentration for electrospinning, or you didn't use a suitable solvent that has good volatility. If the volatility of your chosen solvent is not too high, you will see layers instead of fibers.
I suggest you change the concentration first and find the suitable concentration and if the problem is not solved, change your polymer solvent.
