Can anyone suggest me some good packages and probably some "r command" on how to create a map of any country or city in R software that actually will use latitudes and longitudinal coordination to produce the map?
Also, if there are any good free books on "Mapping in R" please suggest to me.

There are several books on using R generally, all with some matereials on mapping, and two or three that focus on R and its mapping component. I can't find my list of them at the moment--I'm not a user myself--but a quick search on amazon or a similar site for books on R modeling, mapping should turn them up. They'll have both specifics, offered here by others, and a broader review of the process and what it can, and cannot do.
