Hello everybody, does anybody have a experiance with determination of triglycerides using GC-MS/TOF? I tried also with programmed temperature injector (PTV) but without elution. I work at 380 °C to be sure that triglycerides should be evaporated, but no results. I use helium as a carrier gas and rxi-5ht column?
Any idea?

Hello Simon, I have 30x0,25x0,25. I used temperature of ion source 220°C, transfer line 350 °C, however nothing separated, only very smyll response. Oven program ramp 50 °C hold 1 min, than 20°C/min to 380 °C hold 25 min, splitless injection, split open in 1 min. I do not have on-column injection. Thanks for your help
I was thinking about lenght of column, but I do not have any other. I do know where schould be a problem. I injected around 1000 ug of triolein standard in solution and can not see response. Also the flow little bit influence separation but nothing excellent.
