Dear researchers, my question is about the control of isolated DC-Microgrid systems adopting PV-HESS resources. So far, i target to use frequency decoupling control strategy to allow the battery to deal only with the low-frequency current, while the supercapacitor intervenes during transient regimes to provide or absorb the high-frequency currents.

Now, I am asking if we can adopt such control strategy having a PV-Wind-FC system supported by a single battery technology (Lead-acid or lithium-ion)?

If yes, which source can replace the supercapacitor and thereby deal with the high-frequency current?
