Freezing media for BEAS-2B cells?

I need to make a freezing media for BEAS-2B cells. I would like to use 5-10% of PVP, 10% FBS, and 7.5% DMSO. can someone please help me with this calculation?

Hello Lexi C.

If you may want to prepare 10ml freezing media for BEAS-2B cells, you may proceed as follows.

0.5ml PVP (5%)

1ml FBS (10%)

0.75ml DMSO (7.5%)

7.75ml plain growth media

If you have PVP in powdered form, mix to 5% final volume in the freezing media itself. Sterile filter the freezing media using 0.2um filter before use.
