Hello! I'm planning an experiment and I need to develop a DoE. I would like to use a software to design the experiment. My supervisor recommend me "MODDE Umetrics" , but there is not a free version available (only the trial version and I need it for a long time). Therefore, someone knows a software for DoE free and easy to use? Because it is my first time with this kind of softwares... Thank you very much in advance!
You can do much of DOE related computations in Scilab and R computational platforms, both of which are open source softwares.

can you disclose what kind of designs and data analysis are you planning/willing
to perform? Screening, complete/fractional 2-level factorial designs, surface 2+ levels?, CCD?
These involve quite simple calculations that can be performed/automated using Excel, for instance. It is obvious that as Excel was not tailored for DOE and therefore the built-in data analysis and graphics you find in Modde will be missing.
I coded and I have (somewhere) a few Excel tools I used in classes.
