The modified B.G. Prasad's scale is used to assess the socioeconomic status of both urban and rural areas, which is based on the monthly Percapita income of a family. My question is whether the consumer price index to calculate the scale is varied in case of of urban and rural areas. That is CPI-Industrial worker for urban area and CPI- Agricultural worker for rural area. Kindly clarify
