The only difference between my reference article and my experiment is the salt bridge (using potassium perchlorate). I'm not using the salt bridge with that electrolyte but the reference electrode,concentrations, diameter and microelectrode materials are the same.

Dear Cesar, pls let us know about the electrolyte used in the literature. Generally, the transport number of cation and anion are expected to be in the similar range w.r.t the electrolyte used in the salt bridge, otherwise you will be developing Junction potential, which can be reflecting back in your actual potential measurement. Pls check the transport numbers of K+ and ClO4- .
