Notwithstanding the change of government, this does not mean that an independent or sovereign education system will be constituted. The international division of labor is at the heart of the contradictions surrounding globalization, and from this perspective policy lending remains a strategic element for National States that occupy central place in the economic system. With this, the need to establish a system of world government, through the interventions / guidelines of the international agencies, can contribute to the maintenance of domination, as well as the training of professionals with an adequate profile for the country's own production, as well as position in the global system.
The expectations are definitely higher in a positive direction to uphold the image of the Malaysian Education system in this globalized era. Especially it is expected that the Govt. funding for the universities, research works really needed to be facilitated. Local programs should be monitored to control the quality of education. As Malaysia need to compete with the neighboring countries to attract both local and international students hence it is necessary to reduce any gap that can hinder the quality of higher education. It is also crucial to look into the postgraduate programs which carries prestige and also affect the rankings of the universities. Funding and scholarships for the international and local students should be facilitated in the postgraduate level. the focus should be given not only to fulfill the number of training hours for the academics rather than useful training which can really help in development, nurturing of knowledge, enhancing the relationships with students especially for the postgraduate research based students.
The change in Maylasia will become important in ways we cannot predict; While I can't speculate on the nature of those changes, they will likely be judged on whether they increase or decrease democracy. To build a democratic society, it must be practiced in every element, every institution and every political change. From this, I humbly suggest that the new prime minister, who has declared he will personally run the education sector: gather and listen closely to the teachers. Education leaders--whether in Malaysia or in any other country--Do not substitute one's own opinion for those who most closely work with the children, but ask them to assess and then design the teaching/learning methods for democracy that can work best to develop youth who can think broadly and deeply, and who can perform both vertically and horizontally in industry, government and community life.
The system of education is very important to the individual. The main target is to be aware on the development of learning to be globally competent and oriented. Government changes should not be affect to the education. Government can give support every department agency have a person standing and reported to the superior. They constructs planning budgeting before the implementation of project or different agenda. Think to consider first the valuable education for all
I can not comment on what could happen with the change of government. The important thing would be for the new government to consider education for sustainable development as a policy and to apply it throughout the country's educational system. That would be an advance with the objectives of sustainable development 2030.
One may not predict the future for now. There are many factors that must be concidered for educational change e.g transformational policies, norms and standard funding, poltical influence on education system, systemic barriers to teaching and learning etc.
