In the process of Electrode ink preparation we generally use binder solvent and glycerol at some wt ratios which are mixed thoroughly and coated on substrate to achieve required thickness. The coated substrate is sintered at sintering temperature .

But, I find that after sintering the coated electrode ink layer on substrate suffers shrinkage cracks. Can anyone suggest me what kind of precaution should be taken to avoid such cracks?
