If I use (n_c-1) global component mole fraction Z_c, Pressure P, Mixture velocity Vm, Gas holdup αg as primary unknowns, my Primary unknowns will be n_c+2 , while I have n_c+1 primary equations ( n_c mass balance equations+ 1 momentum balance equation). How to resolve this imbalance? [ I am using a Drift flux formulation]

[ only n_c -1 component mole fractions are considered to be primary unknowns as the composition of the last component can be explicitly derived from 1- summation of n_c-1 component mole fractions. Similarly, liquid hold up= 1- gas hold up]
