I am interested on how social imaginaries can emerge from the web-mediated discouse of third sector organizations and will like to follow their social media. Shall I create a new profile for myself just for research purposes, or will that be perceived as "hiding" myself and being dishonest with the organizations followed? What do you think about this?
I think should create a new facebook profile, but add all the same people again. Continue ur activities and be the same. The only benefit will be that you wont add personal pictures and data in that profile.
Yes Veronica, Henna has given a good idea. This way you will not be hiding yourself and your more personal stuff will also be protected.
But Veronica if you feel that its unethical and you are hiding yourself then go ahead and start the project with the current profile. After all its all in the pursuit of education :)
It would be better to create your own profile on the social media and particularly if possible at the organizational social network, or in the organizational page at the social media.
